What the counts say

A hundred and twelve of the hundred and twenty-three series run to five episodes. Eleven break the pattern, anywhere from six episodes up to thirty-four, and even the longest still opens with the usual two free. A hundred and sixteen series charge twelve tokens for each locked episode; seven charge thirty, and those seven are exactly the digital twin titles.

A hundred and four series end by leaving you in a chat with one of their characters. Nineteen simply stop at the last episode.

Why the count moves

Candy adds new serials most weeks, and the labels on the catalogue shift as titles age out of the new shelf. Every figure on this page is a snapshot dated below the charts. When the catalogue grows, the page is recounted.

What the labels mean, and what they do not
